Myth I and II
Man, I remember playing those.
Freaked the hell out of me.
Due to awesome.

OT: Has anyone said Psychonauts?
I'm going with Psychonauts.

It might be well known on the site, but not so much outside of it.
What this bloke said. Except the bits about Myth I & II.

I might also add Area 51, though it is a very generic shooter.
Except you can shoot flying jellyfish from your hands.
MESON CANNON!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm going to say this as well

It's got some sweet voice actors like David Duchovny (or however the hell you spell it) and even Marlyn Manson!

Another one would be Secret weapons over Normandy, it's a PS2 game about what is essentially the flying OSS

How about Freedom Force? It's a superhero RPG made by Irrational games (yes, the System Shock/Bioshock creators). It's good-looking, it's hilariously campy, and it's gameplay works well. Yet no-one has really heard about it.

Here's my review of it (yay self-promotion), go read it if you want to have some idea on what Freedom Force is like.

Cossacks and all the expansions. Actually I think they sold quite well but no one talks about them now, probably because they are quite old, but still great games.
Are they good? I heard GSC made them... I fucking love GSC... So are they worth getting and anything you can say about them?
They are RTS games with a good balance of strategy and base building set in the 17th and 18th centuries with upwards of 20 unique (literally unique, not just a different skin) nations. You can literally field thousands of units as there is no unit cap once you install the expansions, and even before the unit cap was 8000. It is in 2d but the graphic and detail are amazing.
Should I buy it?
Yeah it's really cheap now and especially if you like RTS games. May seem a bit daunting at first but once you get into it it is a blast to play. The online is going strong and there are cheats as well.

I've previously stated my love for Republic Commando, and I also love Metal Arms: Glitch in the system. I'm noticing a pattern here: These both REALLY NEED SEQUELS. As in, right now.

Are you listening, LucasArts? I want to know what happened to Sev! That guy was Awesome!

Yay! I used to love that game.
My obscure game is Imperium Galactica II. It is very fun, had mind-blowing graphics (for 1998 that is) and it was made by Hungarians, so my nationalist underdog feelings can get a shower of awesomeness.

For me it was :

AVP: Extinction
Spartan Total Warrior
Commandos 2

All ps2 releases. Ahhh it might be just because I was really young when I played these games, but all I have are good memories =)

I'm still waiting to find out too.

I gotta say, Crash Bandicoot, Jersey Devil, Tribes Aerial Assault, War of the Monsters, Whiplash, Star Wars Starfighter, Smugglers Run, Ribbit King, Minority Report, 007 NightFire, Future Tactics, the Uprising, Seek and Destroy, Ape Escape, AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST Astro Boy.

Hype: The Time Quest. Why is it that I'm like the only person in the entire world to play it?

this little shooter called "modern warfare 2" it is very limited, and the guns are unbalanced as hell, and the mechanics give good players additional advantages. and the multiplayer sucked.

but for an indie game the single player game was pretty good. but it was just too... unfinished to be given an actual release by a publisher.
You are kidding me, right?
