The only reason that I got a multi-tap was for Crash Bash on the PS1. Since the PS2 is backwards compatible, that's what I'd recommend.
Another awesome choice would be War of the Monsters, and Godzilla: Unleashed.
I just took a look at my collection and both Twisted Metal 4 and Twisted Metal: Black allow 4 players. You can't go wrong with that franchise.
