Long ago, a great evil was locked away. Hidden in the far reaches of the world, the secret to unlocking it was given to 7 warriors. As the years passed, the secret was passed down from father to son, mother to daugher, until one day, all seven were stolen at once. Now, the remaining 7 warriors must hurry to get it back before the evil is released into the world again.

To start somewhere, I'm going to lay some rules.
#1: There will be no Trenchcoating, Mary Sueing, God Modding or anything of that sorts. Doing so will give you a kick out of this RP.
#2: It would be nice if you didn't have anything taking up your time, like school. Helps with moving this RP a little faster. But this rule is bendable.
#3: I will only accept 6 people, with me as the 7th person. But if any of them drop out, I will change the title and you can PM me if you want a spot.

Description: Pale complexion, bright blue eyes, light purple hair, wears a dark purple robe. Not very muscular, but can fight when necessity calls for it.
Bio: Alex was found by the kings men as a baby on the road. On him, he had a letter with his name on it, and a strange purple emblem. Alex had a very fortunate upbringing. The king adopted him as his own and raised him to become an honorable prince. He was trained in many areas, including horse riding, military strategics, and slight close combat. But Alex never had any interest in this. His interest was in the dark arts. The king was worried about him, as Alex never became the ultimate soldier and prince he wanted him to be.
He failed in many of his trainings, but he remembered some lessons. He spent most of his life in the library, reading about the dark arts, practicing how to use magic. He later found out in his studies the secret behind his emblem. It was the emblem of the Black Mage family. He was destined to be a magician of the dark arts.
There was something odd about Alex. He was often very quiet, and he sometimes had a blank stare in his face, as if he was possessed. Many of the king's close aquaintances were worried as well, they feared what the boy was, as they knew nothing of where he came from.
After years of mastering his magic capabilities, he ran away from home, not telling anyone where he went.
Alex is a very humble person. He never brags about anything, and he is always trying to help. But at times, he can be very confusing. He can switch from being extremely talkative to not saying anything for days, just staring out in the open. People call him Lucky, as he often has incredible luck in the most dire situations.

Darun started training in white magic to spite his father, whom he detested. Now a very capable white mage, Darun's childhood has left him a cold and devious. His profession as a white mage is very much at odds with his view of the world.
Darun eventually discovered that his father was actually not his father. Kiril had a normal childhood just like any other kid. He lived a perfectly normal life: trained in wielding all 2 handed weapons (swords, axes, spears, poles, etc.) together with his dad, fished salmon out of the waterfall with his bare hands, raced wolfs through the forest wilds, wrestled bears? What do you mean ?its not normal?? Well, it was for him. At least until sometime after his 15 birthday, when he wondered far enough and found the closest village to his home.
Of course he knew about other people and their way of life. His father told him stories of outside world and taught he everything he might ever need ? how to read and write, mathematics and physics (?You can?t learn how to wield a weapon unless you learn the natural laws that weapon obeys, you imbecile of a son!?), history, medicinal application of wild plants, and basic magic (?Everything in nature has a spirit ? earth under your feet, wind behind your back, flame of your bonfire, water of the stream. Even your weapon has one. It is our clan?s job as Mystic Knights to draw onto the spirits of nature and imbue our weapons with their power. ? Are you even listening to me? HEAD! *SMACK*?). Kiril simply had no interest in other humans until he actually saw them. For all his teaching, his father had simply forgot to mention that girls can be so? oh my?
From then on Kiril would often visit the village for obvious reasons (not that he was all that successful). And it was on his way back from one of such ?breaks? 3 years later, that he found his house in ruins and his father dead. In his rage and grief he gave chase to whoever might be responsible, following their tracks deeper into the woods. The tracks disappeared above the intersection of the lay lines, with only a faint smell of translocation magic lingering in the air.
It was only the next day that Kiril has returned to the ruins of his house and buried his father. He searched the ruins for the artifact his father once showed him, but could not find it anywhere (?This, son, is a key. One of the 7 keys which bind an ancient evil, to be precise. Our ancestor gave his life to seal it away, and it is now our duty to guard this key, so that his sacrifice will not be for naught.?). Whatever it would take ? he must get that artifact back. He took his father?s Zweihander and armor. Said final prayer to the Earth Mother, above his father?s grave and according to the clan?s rules tied his tail into a pattern for vengeance.
