Pretty much something in a game like an item or character that you thought was great at first then annoys the shit out of you as you play.

Fallout: new vegas in old world blues dlc.

I like sneaking around and the stealth suit seemed Awesome with the +25 to sneak and other stat boosts. The problem? The thing wont fucking stop talking. -_- Whoever thought it was a great idea for it to talk should have looped recording of it taped to their ears.

I thought random encounters were pretty cool back when I played FF8 years ago. A few hours after I thought that I managed to exert enough rage and anger at that game to cover what I hope will be the rest of my life.

Navi.

Do I win?

Great, a character to help guide players through the 3D world and info them of important information... It'll be super. And then everyone finds her annoying.

Same thing, different Final Fantasy. For me it's Mystic Quest. One the plus side, as you damaged enemies (or was it just bosses?) they showed signs of being damaged (ripped up wings, slumping posture, etc)

Thats pretty much a lot of Final Fantasy games.

IX makes the act of grinding feel a lot less tedious with it's amazing music and entertaining graphics. But then again it still is a Final Fantasy game so you can still get TKO'd in battle.
