Hands down the weather control device in Red Alert 2. Calling down bolts of lightning to strike down enemy soviet tanks was just awesome. It's just a massive shame that they replaced that unique superweapon with a boring old laser cannon in Red Alert 3. Sigh... I miss Westwood Studios. Oh yea, and hello Escapist! Also thanks to nice welcome I got from people on my first post. I'm gonna like this website!

Anyway, weapons. my vote goes to (and this may surprise some), the L96A1 sniper rifle from Battlefield 2. That thing got me about 95% of my kills on that wonderful game.

Greatest as in causes most destruction would be the Big Fucking Gun 9000. Nothing can top that weapon.

I'm partial to the Gravity Gun (both versions). But the Experimental MIRV deserves a tip of the hat for being the most redundantly overpowered weapon ever.
