Green Lantern Blackest Night

Has anyone been reading the preludes?
I MUCHLY enjoyed the Sinestro Corps War, and was enjoying the Rage of the Red Lanterns
The inclusion of Larfleeze [sic] looks like it's going to be pretty good as well, but guessing at plot developments, I can see each of the earth based lanterns falling to one of the new corps, or at least the new corps trying to recruit them.

It did make me chuckle when, within two issues, Hal Jordan had managed to be corrupted yet again, then became Blue and Green. The man is just too much hassle, I'd get shot of him personally

Anyway, thoughts, feelings?

I'm reading Dark Reign, and a few marvel ones at the minute, I like the Ultimate series as well, but I don't have enough moolah to buy all the comics I want, so I have to make do

The only comics I read are Atomic Robo and The Ultimates before Jeph Loeb ruined it.

I'm more of a marvel person, but I am impressed with what little I've seen of blackest night (one of the artists is on my dA watchlist)

I stopped reading comics a long time ago when the shop near me closed. I'm a marvel person, but now I make do with webcomics

I stopped reading individual issues awhile back. I'm all for supporting the industry and everything, but I just can't warrant driving out to Odin's Cosmic Bookshelf (best comic shop name ever, right?) to buy just one or two books. Not in this economy.

I'm waiting for the trade paperbacks on this one. Been looking forward to the Blackest Night since the Sinestro Corps War. And yes, it's hilarious that Hal manages to end up "corrupted" by every color in the spectrum at one point or another. He's like a buffet Lantern or something, picking and choosing from each faction to see what he likes most.

Why don't you just torrent them?

DCP isn't getting his regular weekly pack up in time, and downloading them individually takes an ice age... so 9 times out of 10 i don't bother
