So the cover to the newest Entertainment Weekly shows what Ryan Reynolds will look like as the Green lantern:

Personally I think its god-awful. It looks like it belongs in Tron, not a super-hero movie. And why a painted-on mask? But that's just me. What are everyone else's thoughts?

I don't care about him being the Green Lantern because they're gonna fuck it up just like Seth Rogan and the Green Hornet. I only care about what the make him look like in his Deadpool role. They have an opportunity with that to make up for the mistake they made in that Wolverine movie and if they fuck DeadPool up again bad things will happen.

It looks way too much like a nano-suit.

It just should have been done in the old fashioned sense: Good ole leather tights!

The fuck? That looks awful. They got the hair right, but he's dressed more like something from Crysis than a Green Lantern.

I am disappoint.

I agree entirely, ironically his suit looks far too spacy.

Looks exactly like a nano-suit.

Luckily, I never read the comics and I'm probably not going to see the movie... I don't know what it should have looked like, so I'm not as disappointed but it still doesn't look very good. And every time I see the name Ryan Reynolds playing Green Lantern, I always imagine Burt Reynolds...

I don't see what is wrong with the costume. Seems ok to me.

Also, I think that Ryan Reynolds is actually a pretty good actor, mind you he always does the same roles over and over again.

I hope they make the Deadpool movie a lot better than how the character was represented in Wolverine...that was horrible, but it was not the actor's fault.

Kind of like what they did to Jackie Earle Hayley in that horrible remake of Nightmare on Elm Street.

Well I am not sure if Ryan Reynolds and Jackie Earle Hayley are of the same caliber, but yes that is exactly my point; characters ruined by the producers/writers/directors and not by the performance.
