NO! I'm going to miss his counter-trolling.

Though, I thought he had actually been there a bit longer, but shows you what I know.

He still haven't coughed up that pony he promised me...

Tauren Paladins were nice, though. I'll let the pony thing slide.

Wow. I doubt the game will be drastically different without him but maybe someone new will pick up the reins and bring some life back into it.

Decent guy. Given Blizzard's overactive and zealous fanbase it's a wonder anybody has stayed in that role for as long as he has. I wonder what his next venture will be.

I can't comment on anything he's done in the last 2.5 years, but back when I played WoW I actually rather liked Ghostcrawler as he was one of the more amusing Blizzard reps. Best of luck to him.

Ghostcrawler... at least he wasn't so totally ignorant to class mechanics that he thought Warriors popped enrage.

Huh, that's a name I haven't seen in a while. I remember him in his TO THE GROUND days. No idea if he's been any good recently.

Still, seems like he's left on good terms, which is always nice to see.

Well sorry to be the asshole of the bunch but I still blame him for most of the changes to Wow I hated, so this isn't tragic news to me.

Anything particular you attribute to him? I always feel with a company that size it's impossible to put a name to any idea, and anybody who's known by name gets unnecessarily scrutinised by the public. So I have a bit of a soft spot for anybody who puts their name out there and actually communicates their ideas to the customers. It's like he should be the good guy but because he's the one doing the talking he gets all of the flak. Or something.

Oh I agree the guy's a lightning rod of hate for many players who have no real idea why they don't like him. But since he's the man out front he's the easiest target. That said though the reason I dislike what he's done with Wow is his contribution to the arena system and balancing (AKA nerfing) due to it. I feel that is the high water mark for when the game started to turn to shit for me as it had wide reaching and negative impacts on many portions of the game outside arena PVP. I honestly think the arena system set off the chain reaction that led to the totally limp dicked new "Idiocracy I.Q. test" skill system the game has now. Under his hands the game went from something you were expected and interested in investing time into, to an instant gratification simulator.

This really hammers home that I know nothing about Blizzard anymore. After the companies horrible transformation with the launch of WoW and the Activision merger I stopped caring.

Never heard of this ghostcrawler before.
