Civ V is now a very different game from what Mr. Tito played back when it was first released. It's plainly obvious that he made this video based on experience prior to December 16th when the game had a major overhaul, and has been fine tuned a couple of times since then. First of all that Diplomacy overhaul arrived, and it is a darned sweet one. Second the AI is much more effective with combat, building and expansion. Even across a large sea, once it acquires the necessary tech! There's tons more to it, but those were the main delights I noticed after December 16th, which shall remain in my memory as a day worth savoring. It was the day when the game reached maturity and shook off the vast majority of it's earlier laundry list of issues and shortcomings.

O' and you can't destroy cities with a couple of archer units and a single melee unit anymore. No, Sir! The siege units actually have a purpose in the game now!

Yeah cause graphics are everything. o_O
There are several graphical enchancements for the game, can really look spectacualar once you've added Polished Landscapes for example. Also, one of the major things in Warband is the multiplayer and mods.
