Oh and the whinier members of the tranny community. Fuckers try to force their delusion on us and expect us to learn a whole new goddamn set of terms to describe all the subtle differences in what they want to be called this week.

Edit: Ohh, I know. The ones I really hate the most are those PC assholes who, for example in a recent thread [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/jump/18.352408.13984025] try to make you out to be a racist/homophobe/bigot etc if you ever dislike A person who happens to be of a minority.
Racist/homophobe/bigots that try to pretend that they aren't.
And the French, they destroyed Interplay and I will never forgive them for it.

Oh man, I judge quite a few groups unfairly and I am not proud of it. Republicans, Vegetarians/Vegans, Christians. I've met a number of nice people in those categories who are incredibly intelligent, nice and not at all extreme. Yet the vast majority of what I've seen/heard has been from people who are the absolute worst examples of what people in these groups are like. Essentially extremists and fundamentalists, so I wrongly have the tendency to hold a negative general opinion of these groups. I try to keep it in mind, but admittedly there are times where I fail horribly. Luckily I manage to keep my mouth shut unless I'm having these particular views shoved down my throat, I still need to work on that.

Frenchmen and Russians.
Too much Warcraft 3 man, every time you saw a Frenchman, you could bet your ass that he couldn't speak english. And much less play the game.
The same goes with DotA 2, every time you end up with a Russian, you can bet your ass you're most likely going to lose. Unless the enemy team's Russian is worse.

How the majority of a countries population can be so bad at games in general is beyond me. I'm not racist, or anything. If I met a frenchman or russian in real life I would treat him or her just as I would any other person.
But once you get into a game with any of them, you kind of lose the will to play because of how bad they are. Of course, this doesn't apply to every frenchman or russian, so I always give them a chance to prove themselves. But let's just say that my boiling point is far lower with them than anyone else.

Every single person that frequents 4chan. I know there's probably 2 people out there that I shouldn't hate. So that's unfair.
Just gonna point out, you probably mean /b/ specifically, not the entirety of 4chan...
Heck /v/ is frequented by a lot of successful indie devs and a lot of them get good ideas/feedback from it.
No. I mean all of 4chan. This is judging unfairly, is it not?

I'd say frat boys, I generally try to stay away form them because I don't like their general attitude or demeanor, maybe some of them aren't super concerned with partying, but I haven't been looking for them.

i know it's wrong, but i can't bring myself to accept domestic abuse, child molesters or rapists. i may be prejudiced against them for a while more before my blood stops boiling over the thought of them.

Real life roleplayers. Guys who like to pretend they're average joes in video games. I try to do the whole agree to disagree thing with them, because I play video games to explore my fantasies, but others can do what they like as well. But then they suggest things like fuel systems and bringing back hunger to the GTA series and I just don't get it. Ok, they want to play as an average joe. Fine, there are games that let them do that just fine. But when people complain about the realism of a game series that has always been about hollywood style heists and insane chases, I just have to face palm because most people aren't after real life role playing opportunities when buying a GTA game.

Art gamers. This really is the same general principal. They HAVE art games with lots of symbolism. While I do think they deserve at least one triple A developer, I don't want every game to become like the path and every day the same dream because those games seem to go out of their way to be boring and tedious. You like art games. Fine. Just don't expect me to side with you when you say that EVERY game should be like that. I like blowing shit up and driving race cars and fighting dragons. The race car thing is why I got into games in the first place. Maybe you are smarter than me. Fine. You should get a developer that caters to your needs. Just don't expect EVERY developer to do so, since the market needs more variety. And no, I don't want every game to be COD either. That should go without saying, but some people love making assumptions.

I guess I judge all religions unfairly.

Admittedly I know a lot about some and others I don't know at all. The problem is I see the few outspoken extremists, and paint all religion with the same brush. It's not fair, and I should try to be more understanding of them.

They make it so difficult though when the outspoken minority preach their rhetoric on birth control, gay marriage, suicide bombing, and all those other things that they claim has been commanded by "god" that go against equality, and acceptance of others.
Kind of in the same boat myself. I think with all the negative media that the majority of religious branches receive, it's tough to wade through the muck and find the good people underneath since those people are usually never in the media.

Foreigners other than me and the people I know.

I am living in Japan right now, and whenever I see anyone who is obviously a foreigner, I immediately feel hostile towards them. "Go back to your own country!" Is what I usually think as I walk by, staring at them. Which is ridiculous, since I am a foreigner here as well. And yet, I somehow feel like I have more of a right to be here than "those damn tourists."

It's silly, I know, but I just can't seem to help it.

LoL yeah I had that, too. I lived there for 7 years and in that time picked up the language to 2-kyu (albeit usually I spoke with a strong Osaka-ben dialect) ... and there were all these damned kids trying to learn Japanese from their Japanese girlfriends ... GAAAHH ... they all sounded like freakin' bitches, man. As you know, the difference between 'girl' speak and 'boy' speak in casual Japanese is very clear and frankly soooo many foreigners sound gay `cause they learn Japanese from the wrong gender.

Can't stand Russians, salesmen or fratboys.

Too many bad experiences with all 3 for me to be as objective as I'd like to be.

Bronies on certain websites like 4chan, tumblr, etc. Also hardcore anime fans, 4chan users, and Starcraft players.

Its not nice to judge people based on certain things like this, but everyone does it, even just a little. =/

Well I'm not going to earn any friends here, but in the spirit of the thread (and with full knowledge that this makes me even more of a terrible person), I will admit to being a racist.

I am not "a bit" racist, I am not "a little" racist. I am a racist. I hold many stereotypes and prejudices to be true until I am proven wrong. To my credit, I have improved over the course of my life and no longer believe a large amount that I did hold true due to an influx of new information or a direct example.

There is one stereotype though that I have yet to be able to shake: I am of the firm belief that Asian people are incapable of driving. Without fail, every Asian individual I've come across on the road has been a hazard to themselves and others through either gross inattentiveness or flagrant disregard for even basic road safety.

I know it's wrong, I know that the person behind the wheel could be very intelligent and kind. I know that not all bad drivers are of Asian descent and that there are many worse drivers who are clearly white or otherwise European.

At the same time, I have lost count of the number of times I have had to swerve, brake hard, or make other emergency maneuvers because an Asian person decided that the red light was just a suggestion, or that shoulder checking or even checking their mirrors was not needed when suddenly jerking into a space I was currently occupying (I'd mention the lack of signalling, but this is Edmonton and just about everyone is guilty of that here). And before it is asked: yes, I DO check to see if the person driving is Asian.

I'm awful, I know.

I harbour a prejudice against normal people, extreme religious people (Anyone who tries to push their religion rather than simply accepting others don't believe in it) and these people:

"Omg I hate Australia so much, was way better in Serbia"
. Any normal person that does not take the time to become my friend is generally stupid, and even some that are my friends are, but I understand their other strengths. For the kind of stupid I'm talking about; the sun revolves around the Earth, H2O isn't water and Shakespeare wrote the bible. That's not even the half of it.
Religious people that try to push their religion lose all respect in my eyes. They cannot respect that I will not believe in their deity, they get no respect from me.
And those people in Aus who constantly complain that life was better where they came from, who try and turn the country into where they came from, yet who don't want to go back to where they came from because it was so crap back there... Sorry to be rude, but GTFO of my country. If its that bad here, leave. If its not, accept our culture and our ways, and don't try to force your's on us. I'm fine if you practise your culture, or if it is abundant in your area. I will not accept you complaining that the majority of Aus doesn't do that, or anything along those lines, for similar reasons to the religious people.

Eh, and a lot of this minus the atheists. Atheists who go around trying to preach Atheism, or who hold themselves in a higher regard tend to fall into the zealots category for me, but just plain atheists I have no problem with, same as just plain religious people.

People who do marihuana to relax. I know that it's less harmful than alcohol, but the idea of it is just so stupid to me. this goes for all mind altering substances, really.

This is kind of off topic, but I wish there was a word that I could use besides fan to say I like something. I mean I like star trek, I love talking about it with other people whenever I get the chance. But I don't own any star trek stuff, I don't go around quoting the shows, and I try to shut up about it when I am talking to people. So I'm not a fanatic, I just like the show. I hope that made sense.

Also, generally 90% of the COD community. I play the game a lot and some of the people I meet are... They at least have some semblance of manners and common courtesy/respect. Most of them just curse over the mic, call each other faggots/cheaters and think their 10 year old selves are more significant at life because they can quick scope "like a pro".

I like to play with people who play for fun or at least aren't a complete douche. Or a 10 year old. I say I judge them unfairly because technically I'm 2 years younger than the required age to play it, supposedly, and if I see someone who sounds like they're 8, I'm going to assume they're one of those squeakers who gets on everyone's nerves and somehow learned all the swear words he could possibly know.
Wait until you get to this stage.

I know what you mean though! Wen I played online CoD or Battlefeild I found my faith in humanity being physically drained from my life... Therefore I just don't play any more! I now only play multiplayer exclusively with freinds!

OT: The French... I haven't had much experience with the cheese eating surrender monkeys, but all the experience I have had has been bad... also as a Brit I was bred to naturally dislike them... so all in all I now see them all as blase, laissez faire, douches... (Who I am more than happy to use their phrases! :p)
I believe this is also relevant.

Well considering the facts that volcanic activity has spewed out far more carbon dioxide than all the cars that have ever existed...
I'm not sure where you got this figure from, but even if this were true, the basic concept is off.

The Earth doesn't give two hoots what the largest source of carbon is, the system cares about the total amount of carbon. Even if the entirety of natural processes contributed 99.9% of the Earth's capabilities to sink CO2, if humans contributed .2% we would still disrupt the system.

As-is, I believe humans contribute roughly 10-20% of the CO2, which is more than enough when the cup was already full.

...and the fact that the planet naturally goes through warming and cooling periods.
It does. Several different types, in fact. You have Malenkovich cycles (~40,000 years as the Earth's orbit around the sun changes), you have natural periods of CO2 accumulation, periods of glacial maximums (which happen for about 10,000 years every 100,000 years) and so on. The problem is that Humans are making the warming cycle happen very, very fast.

It's not giving enough time for environments to find an equilibrium. The last time the warming happened this quickly with these conditions, there was a mass extinction. That's bad for everybody.

For instance, 90% of the top selling drugs are plant-based or were discovered compounds in plants. Good luck trying to find more when 85% of the plants die off.

yeah, I'm feeling pretty safe on my side of the fence. In a case like this, the burden of proof is on the "man-made" side seeing as how we already know that the Earth naturally goes through heating and cooling periods, it's up to them to prove that this time it's our fault, and they simply haven't done that.
It's us. The deniers in the scientific community (most of which don't have degrees related to the topic) make up about 2%.

Plus, it doesn't really matter if it's us or not. The consequences are going to be the same at this rate; mass extinction. The proponents of "it's all a hoax perpetrated by Climatologists" usually use the excuse that it's not man-made to advocate the continuation of our lifestyle and prevent the exploration and development of other sources of fertilizer/agriculture and energy.

Our current style of energy production is unsustainable. If it won't run out within the next few decades, it will within the next two centuries (and that INCLUDES natural gas). It doesn't make sense to continue to consume such large quantities when we could switch to a source that has significant advantages over our current mode; with the one detriment being that people may have to change their habits SLIGHTLY.

I really don't want to get into a political argument about this though, so go ahead and respond with some argument or article or whatever you like, I'll likely ignore it on the basis of "agree to disagree".
There isn't anything to "agree to disagree" about. I guarantee you that you're just under-informed when it comes to the topic. I'm in the most conservative state in the nation, and every single one of my college professors (in a Research 1 institution) have explained in excruciating detail what's going on.

We're talking award-winning PhD's from a state whose government is run by the Church.

OT: People who don't do their research and stick to their beliefs despite overwhelming scientific evidence because it makes them feel safer/better. Complementary/Alternative Medicine, Vitamin Supplements, and anti-Global Warming "evidence" are some of the biggest crocks to gain popularity in the USA (particularly the latter). They are all junk science, and they are all worthless 99% of the time.

Most groups of teenage girls. They all look the same to me, and I always find them annoying. Their always loud, and filled with awkward laughing, because one of them did something by mistake that's considered outside of the norm, and they don't know how to react. They seem like such bland and boring people. Their lives must be so uneventful.
