I'm calling it now: this will be the most successful thing Lifetime has ever aired based almost completely on the curiosity factor.

That was horrible but, then again, I am sure the people that turned that cat into a worldwide phenomenon are going to love it.

And that voice was really off. I had a hard time before I realize that was the inner voice of the cat. I guess I thought of it as a grumpy old man, instead of a sarcastic young girl...

The cat's voice seems really off-putting. I dunno if it's shitting recording, Ms. Plaza phoning it in, or maybe she's not a good voice actor. Whatever the case may be, I won't be watching it.

So they put Grumpy Cat to actually do something... and they gave it a voice? I'm a little skeptical about it.

I, for one, welcome our new Grumpy overlord. The idea is crazy but I only care about the final result. If it's a fun movie I'm OK with it.

I'm not averse to having internet memes tortured into movies but... this looks horrendous. It's like they didn't even want to try. It looks like it was made on a budget roughly equivalent to a Starbucks coffee and whatever the voice actress is getting paid, she's not earning it.

Sheesh.

my hubby loves Christmas movies
my hubby loves bad movies
I am so screwed!

...my only saving grace is we live in the UK and this probably won't appear over here until next year!

"Die die die die die." Truer words never came from Audrey Plaza.

This look terrible, and I'm just waiting for someone to make Grumpy Cat minus Grumpy Cat.

You know how they say that actors sometimes "phone it in"?

I think they meant it literally in this one. I mean they literally just had Aubrey Plaza call them on the phone and record a bunch of random lines they sent her in an e-mail, and then put them in this movie.

Dreadful. The only positive outcome would be the possible nostalgia critic review that this could spawn.

At least it seems kinda self-aware, right? That's gotta count for something, right? Right?!

I don't fuckin' know, it doesn't actually look that bad. Looks just like every other made-for-TV holiday special out there.
...RIGHT?!

well that was... something, something is the only way to explain what i feel right now
Oh! I love something! Something is my favorite!

OT: Huh... Well, at least I can say that Bill Murray now has a run for his money this time... *snickers* Also, I will consider this as some pseudo-birthday present for me because if this movie is anything like how this trailer is presenting it to be, then this would be an interesting movie to laugh at and not because this is still technically a Lifetime movie...
