If you haven't heard already, the GT choices for many of the Game of the Year Awards have upset nearly they're entire viewing audience. This is mainly due to the exclusive console awards for Best PC, PS3, and Xbox Game. I'm going to spoil their choices for the Awards and just flat out tell you that Modern Warfare 2 won on every single platform. It's understandable that fans would get upset when the exclusives lose to a multiplatformed game, but what really set everyone off was when those same exclusives didn't even make the nominees list. You pretty much saw the same nominees over and over on every platform they covered.

If you look at the rating scores for each video, you'll see that Game of the Year, Best Xbox 360, Best PS3, and Best PC are all under the 4 rating of a 10 point system. On the first page of comments for any of these videos, you'll see are all backed with negative feedback and anger which goes on for pages. I'm going to be honest and say I have never seen anything like this before in my career as a hardcore gamer.
GT has the right to express their opinion during these reviews, yet fans are not pleased by their decisions to exclude many games they felt worthy of at least a mention. Everyone is outraged. What does the Escapist community think about these events?
