The numbered GTA games always took place in Liberty City (New York) while the named ones took place in the places they were named after. While New York is the greatest place on earth, changing things up is always interesting. What cities would you like GTA to go to?
I personally would love GTA: Vatican city.

It wouldn't work outside of the US because most people wouldn't understand the cultural references, the only place it could work outside the US would be london, but the getaway ruined that for everyone. San Francisso could probably be a good one with the surronding bay area.

OP's GTA: Vatican City wouldn't be a very big game, seriously, its like one street, some shops and a big ass church.

However, I would totally play GTA: Bradford, lots of drugs and hookers and gangs to be had there. Even the occasional Ferrari to steal.

OT--- GTA: Jamaica- oh, wait, I forgot, that would be too racist for this world, wouldn't it?

Maybe GTA: Ireland. Irish people have kickass accents, are drunk- and therefore violent- all the time, according to the Boondock Saints movie, they are master assassins and according to Chinatown Wars, really like acid (not that that's a good thing, but it could be made funny).
