Ok, I've been having a lot of problems with this game, but I can't seem to fix one. When the setting changes to night, it gets nearly completely black...as in, I, literally, can't see anything except for buildings and streets (some). I can't see my character, I can't see other characters, and I sure as hell can't see where I am going. Turning up the brightness did not help.
Any help would be nice.

Im running it on Windows 7, I have the compatibility set to XP SP3.

Check the game's website for compatability issues with your graphics card, download the latest drivers, etc.

Could be an OS issue, have you tried running it in compatibility mode?

^.^

Anyway, do you have any mods installed that could be affecting the lighting? Also are you running the game on Steam or a standalone install?

Before you installed the Touhou mods was the same problem occurring? My guess would be that that's screwing with the game, I'd try running it with the mods uninstalled, and contact the person that compiled the mods, I think they can be reached on this forum: http://www.shrinemaiden.org/forum/index.php?topic=8188.0 :)
