Wait, wasn't it said in San Andreas that Vercetti was dead? I'm pretty sure he's gone.Electric Alpaca said:Narrator = Ray Liotta

You're in luck - you don't have to buy it!Andrew_Mac said:I saw it in college. The teachers just put it on the board. Looks like more of the same old shit...

Really? Take a look at Vice City screens and compare (as much as you can compare two triangles to a pile of them) young Vercetti with old.Trucken said:Wait, wasn't it said in San Andreas that Vercetti was dead? I'm pretty sure he's gone.Electric Alpaca said:Narrator = Ray Liotta

The trailer looked nice, I'm just hoping that it's all of San Andreas and not just Los Santos. There seemed to be a lot of countryside though, which is nice.
I don't get what you're saying. Why is GTAV doing away with the realism? The city portrayed here is very clearly Los Angeles(San Andreas), not some 'random made up city'. Just like Liberty City is clearly NYC.walrusaurus said:Meh, i dunno. I think at this point what GTA had going for it over Saints Row was the realism. Part of the appeal of gta4 was NYC. Without that, going back to 'random made up city' i honestly don't see it being any better than SR3, if even that.

I'm afraid I don't see the similarities between Vercetti and the man in the trailer, but you might be right. Maybe they did a retcon.Electric Alpaca said:Really? Even if it was mentioned, series' retcon all the time, we certainly didn't see it.
Plus looking at the other guys, definitely seems to be a CJ in there too.
Why is that? Vice City was a parody of 1980s Miami. If they took the series there in this age it wouldn't be nearly as interesting.bahumat42 said:IT IS A BAD thing, the best locale to go back to would of been vice city.Lacsapix said:you say like thats a bad thing?meowchef said:Sadly it looks to be San Andreas again.![]()
I liked flying jet-planes into the Las venturas Strip a hell lot more then flying trough windshields in gtaV.
