Personally I don't care who joins the cast anymore, as long as there are long drawn out scenes with overly pretentious social commentary involving two boats... I'm so there. Nothing screams Batman more than rendering him absolutely ineffectual. Forget all that utility belt, ingenuity, and detective intuition that help him defeat foes or anticipate their actions. More GWBush allegories please, it adds so much to an overly convoluted plot.
Also, couldn't we do so much more to make the villains more of the focus. Why call it Dark Knight Rises? Instead call it for what it is: Irredeemable 2-dimensional villains blow stuff up for 3 hours.
