A little late to the punch but worth the acknowledgement.
From their origins as re-skinned humans with leaves sticking out their faces the Sylvari of Guild Wars 2 have recieved so very little love- not without a decent excuse though, fans have been howling for a re-design since their unveiling and ArenaNet themselves have been promising one since back in the fall. Not long back the designers released a video and drew attention with their 'Sylvari Week' to celebrate the new design!

Personally I think the new design is miles better than what it was, the plant like race actually has its own distinct look this time around.
Now people are demanding the Azura be re-skinned. Well you can't win them all ANet.
