Hey!
I've been playing Guild Wars 2 during BWE1 and now during BWE2. It's all good and all, but there's one thing I can't figure out.
When using a skill a progress bar shows up (duration of the skill) that fills up. However, some skills have two different sizes of that bar, one small and one a lot bigger.
When the first "part" (small bar) has been filled, the big bar start filling up. When it's done it kind of "lights up" for half a second or so, kind of like other games would do if you hit the correct button during an ongoing skill. Or something, I don't know.
During BWE1 I asked Arena Net and got the answer to hold down the button for more power, but they were talking about some Warrior skill that I've never used. The "two sized bars" isn't only for Warriors but for most (if not all) classes.
So, any idea why some skills have two sizes of their duration bar-thingie?
