So I have never played an mmorpg but after reading a lot of previews of Guild Wars 2 Im seriously considering getting a copy when it comes out. My questions is is it still worth getting the original (the complete edition can be brought pretty cheap these days) to familiarise myself with the genre/backstory? Does it still have a decent community? Or has everyone moved on to newer games?
