Guild Wars?

I played the original, and now I feel too detached to understand how the game works.

I still play it regularly! I love it and so do many more people, In fact it is the only reason I still keep hold of my PC, if it werent for GW I would have said "screw it", got rid of my PC and focus entirely on Halo, but as it happens, GW is constantly supported, always growing, and eternally brilliant!

I still play, but the games become a bit broad.... its PVP focus is distorted... and well its a haven for hackers.
