Guillermo is a master of his craft, and him doing Lovecraft would be a perfect fit, in my eyes.

AWESOME finally a video game based on one of the BEST horror writers out there.
Modern writers claim him as their inspiration, whether its true or not. He's just that good.

This is one of those times when being well-informed can be like a curse. I'm glad the wheels are rolling, but now that I know about it, I want it NOW! A video game by Guillermo del Toro, wow. The possibility of a game with *true* horror and dread driven by a great story is pretty exciting.

I wonder if it will secretly be a metaphor for the Spanish Civil War or Communism or something, like some of his films.

I loved the I haven't seen a lot of del Toro's movies, but from what I have seen, he's an absolute genius. The Orphanage was just fantastic. I'd definitely have a close look at any videogames he decides to make.

Sweeeet. He's such an awesomely visual director, so that should work really well for games too. I definitely look forward to learning more.
