I know we all faced guilt at some point of our life. Some people might still be bothered by it. This thread was inspired by my teacher (uber awesome), we were each supposed to write a letter to nobody and say whatever is bothering us or feel guilty about. So why not try this here? What do you feel guilty about? What is bothering you?

Edit 1: I used to be a real jerk to some people. Kind of wish I could go back in time and change how I acted in certain situations.

I feel no guilt for anything what so-ever. It's a nice perk of always doing what you feel is the right thing to do I guess. :p

You should have probably started with something you feel guilty for yourself btw.

I feel guilty about everything. For example, just a couple of hours ago, I walked into my dad's study to print something off. He's always working for us, and when he's not working, he's driving us to various activities, and doing his taxes or whatever. He never has a moment to himself. And on his desk, there were all these travel guides and maps for New Zealand. He's planning our Easter trip, and it's not even Christmas yet. He's way too selfless.

That made me feel really guilty, because I don't even care about his feelings most of the time, and I'm really short-tempered around him. I reckon I could treat him a lot better. So yeah, pretty much anything can trigger feelings of guilt in me.

It's a bit strange, since sometimes I can be completely oblivious to how someone might react to what I do or say, and then sometimes I'm overly conscious of how they might feel, even if they don't feel that way, or they don't care at all.

Some things occasionally suddenly pop up in my head, things I'm not proud of, but other than that, no, nothing.

I know how you feel. My mom raised my brother and I alone... teaching us everything, drving us everywhere, helping us and everything else. We talked to her about it and became pretty independant.

I quite often get guilty over enjoying life. As if I'm not allowed to live because others don't. Thankfully these thoughts don't happen too often but they are frequent enough to warrant therapy.
