let's start with my favourite so-called band, the Backstreet Boys.

You should be ashamed. What's wrong with you?

Yeah, I mean...damn. Why in the unholy hell would someone feel guilty for liking them? They were almost the only boy band worth anything, they had more of a direct hand in their music than the others, they were good singers, their music style changed over time, and even their early, cheesier stuff still sounded good...certain songs on Millennium being huge exceptions.

...seriously, if "Larger Than Life" and "Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely" alone weren't worth it, "Spanish Eyes" would make me vomit.

That's enough of that. They got me through me trying to kill myself, and rape. For that, they're not a "guilty" pleasure, but more like my lifeline. And Nick's hot. I'm shallow. What more can I say?

...even if I do still wonder why one of the songs off of the first album was "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)". I mean, can you really be "back" on your debut album?

Oooh oooh I can answer that. Because that "debut" was actually their second album. To quote wikipedia:

"Backstreet Boys is the self-titled international debut album from the pop group Backstreet Boys. The album was released around Europe, Asia, Canada and in a few other markets. It was a success, becoming one of the biggest debut albums ever and contains a number of the band's most memorable singles. All of those singles were later released on the second self-titled debut in the United States in 1997, which compiled songs from this album, and the band's second international release, Backstreet's Back."

I am a fangirl, I just don't wet my pants over it. Guess how they put on their pants in the morning (assuming they a) wear pants, and b) put them on in the mornings)... ONE LEG AT A TIME. Just like the rest of the world. Amazing. Just like my neighbours... Only I wouldn't actually PAY to hear my neighbours sing.

I fucking loved the first Gundam game on the ps2, I played through the entire campaign on both sides so many fucking times I can't even count, I played other games, but I kept coming back to that one until my ps2 broke down a few years ago. Never watched the TV show, either, just loved that game.

Tears? As if I would be that...

...oh, all right, so "I Need You Tonight" has that effect on me. In my defense, it was one of the songs I was listening to the night before my cat died. "Don't Wanna Lose You Now" used to do the same thing (for the same reason), before I forced my mind to associate it with something else. I don't care much for the first one, otherwise, but I really like the second.

For the other thing...ouch. It's not directly connected to me, perhaps, but hey, still another reason for me to like them if they had that effect on someone.

Chipotle...........Steak Burrito (xtra steak) rice, pinto beans, diced jalepenos, 3 big scoops of hot sauce, cheese and lettuce......THEN I go to price chopper and pick up a jar of whole pickled jalepenos, slice them up open the burrito and put a bunch of them in there....mix the whole thing up and eat it like a salad.....soooooo tasty!

I can finally answer this! I couldn't think of anything before, but my current guilty pleasure is listening to any songs with a good trumpet player in them. For example, right now, I'm listening to "Conquistador" by Procol Harum. That's a small example. My favourite band features a trumpet player (as well as a trombone, alto sax and bari sax). I enjoy good trumpet. What makes this a guilty pleasure, you ask?

My ex is a trumpet player >_< A good one.
