So with the release of the next guitar/drum/mic game only a mere couple weeks away, I can't help but get excited. Soon there will be a plethora of music streaming the online waves and finding themselves in your home. But will this music be any good?
This version of guitar hero has the ability to make your own songs, or even emulate some of the music greats. There was a little program called frets on fire that has done this, and it was moderately successful in getting some songs correct, but there were also a lot (and I mean a lot) of songs that missed the mark entirely when doing the chords.
Regardless, it should be alright when you consider that anyone submitting gets rated, and there is a cap on how many songs you can upload to the community per month. Hopefully this will weed out all of the crap, but you never can be too certain.
But I digress, my question to the community is what they think of this music creator? It looks like it may have a difficult learning curve, but those savvy to technology and rhythm could make some very good songs.
secondly, if you are planning on uploading some of your very own creations, what would they be? (feel free to post a link to the song)
I think my first go at a creation will be "Love at the end of the world" by Sam Roberts.
