That's actually pretty cool.

But the armour from Halo is the Spartan suit. The Mjolnir was from Marathon.
In Marathon the player is a Mrk VII Mjolnir Battle Cyborg. In Halo the player is a Spartan-II supersoldier wearing Mrk V (Halo: CE) or Mrk VI (Halo 2/3) Mjolnir powered armor.

The visor is too big! How's he supposed to look down all menacingly at the nasty aliens he's stomping on if his helmet's too big!? D:
I'd assume that this Zaku variation would have the same properties that the GM had; a hidden cyclops eye within the visor.

Personally I love the design, although he could have done more weathering on the shield though.

Just curious Funk, but did you find out about this before or after I tweeted this to you?
I check Mecha Damashii every morning :)

That thing looks kinda ugly[footnote]That doesn't mean it doesn't look awesome. It looks brilliant...[/footnote]...
But now.. I never really watched Mobile Suit Gundam...
Maybe I should watch a bit, see what it is like...
The little I have seen was interesting...
May I suggest watching the Mobile Suit Gundam (0079) movie edition and Mobile Suit Gundam: Zeta movie edition. Remastered with better animation and combat sequence etc ...
Can recommend 08th MS Team as well. I thought it was one of the best.

That's what Halo has been missing all this time: mechs!
Halo: Legends says 'Hi' and wonders why you never write anymore. It misses you. Every night Halo: Legends sets a dinner place for you but you never come home. Why? Why do you hate it so?
I'm sorry; you have me confused with someone who has seen this. And plus, why would want to watch mechs when I can play one in a game? But that would be asking for too much, wouldn't it?
One of the shorts in Halo: Legends had the suits reimagined as mecha-style battle suits. Not quite to the Zaku crossover level, but it had them.

And there are plenty of mech games out there, just not Halo related.

Whatever. I wasn't even being serious about Halo needing mechs. What Halo needs is to end.

If I still collected toys I would kill to have this on my mantle. But I am too poor to collect toys or own a mantle so I can only dream...

You've got your Is and Vs around the wrong way: the Marathon guy was always a Mark IV, not a Mark VII, hence the major "Squee!" moment at turning on Halo for the first time and hearing a marine call out "Hey, it's a Mark V!". The 10th, to be precise, but there I'm just being picky.
The Marathon Story Page is your friend: http://marathon.bungie.org/story/
(check "Facts and puzzling things about": "You" and "The 10th military Mjolnir Mark IV cyborg ")

True, nevertheless the armor in Halo is not the "Spartan suit", it's Mjolnir powered armor.

That's awesome. But a cross-over would be kinda hard to push. 6' Cybernetic Super-Soldier versus a 60' mobile suit... I think the Master Chief's luck would finally run out.

The armour's still Mjolnir? Cool. And my bad. I should re-read The Fall of Reach sometime, it's been too long if I'm missing that kind of detail.

I'm so conflicted over this. I'm disgusted at the concept of combining Halo with Gundam, but it actually looks pretty good so it prevents me from bringing forth my full hatred.
