I was looking through some MM details and I saw the prizes were Halogen Glasses by Gunnar who sponsored the competetion.

I was wondering if theres any real benifit to wearing glasses like these at your computer other than looking awesome?

Really, when it comes to glasses, if they aren't shielding your eyes from the sun or correcting your vision, they are clearly aesthetic. Glasses for the most part are supposed to be functional, and if they are not, then you might as well have spent the money on something else.

Like hookers, heroine, and gold spinning rims for your ride.

The librarian part didn't contribute to fueling lolz. At which point I decided it was unnecessary.

I hear its something to do with computer monitors being too far into the blue spectrum by default so you "need" the yellow lenses to counterbalance it and prevent eye strain slightly as a result.
