My WoW account was hacked and banned for "disrupting server economy". I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience and if you have how did it turn out?
2 months? It took me 3 days with a petition ingame and took my friend 2 days for someone at Blizzard to answer his e-mail. Do we play the same game?frankenpimp said:WoW isn't worth two months of waiting for an email from blizz.
This has nothing to do with MMOs, and everything to do with the security practices of the user. Your user account info doesn't just magically appear in some hacker's hands. You have to give it to them, or run their code on your computer. Stay away from untrustworthy software - especially anything anyone advertises on MMO forums - and this problem doesn't exist.Quadtrix said:That's why I stay away from MMOs.
Do you think it's mainly kids who roll DKs?Captain Lag said:No offense to anyone but it seems to me that kids who play death knights get hacked more often. Maybe its a personality trait of kids who roll death knights..
I do NOT have a dk.Captain Lag said:No offense to anyone but it seems to me that kids who play death knights get hacked more often. Maybe its a personality trait of kids who roll death knights..
No I just refer to everyone on an online game as kids. Even if I hear their voice over vent or on Xbox Live or something and they are clearly adult, I still call them kids.CabooseKill400 said:Do you think it's mainly kids who roll DKs?Captain Lag said:No offense to anyone but it seems to me that kids who play death knights get hacked more often.
