The escapist i understand that you want to promote the other content on the site, but this is not the way to do this. having some douche from some rubbish cartoon made by a six year insult me whenever i want to watch a video. all i want to do is listen to the wisdom of Yahtzee Croshaw. but no. every. single. bloody. video. has the same guy delivering the same bloody message.

TAKE THE FUCKING ADS OFF THE START OF EVERY SINGLE FUCKING VIDEO.

DO YOU PEOPLE NOT HAVE SIDE BARS? UNDERBARS? ALL ADVERTISING THE SAME FUCKING THING.

BANNER ADS ARE LESS ANNOYING,(that feels weird to say)

it is just on for a week every other website is willing to do the same thing and the same ad can be repeated for a month there are only like 10 videos released in a week so at most you can watch it 10 times or just leave the escapist until Thursday.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that they are perfectly within their rights to try and sell their features to you with a 7-30 second add per five minute video, or about 2-10% of the whole video. Or have you never seen how television has about 20%+ of their programming taken up by ads? Not just bumped over, replaced by.

As far as the other content (Doraleous, Game Dogs etc) goes, if you don't like it then just don't watch it. Personally I really like Game Dogs.

Again, you prefer the television method? Interupting the stuff you're watching to sell you car insurance and tampons? At least with the Escapist, it's quick, mostly painless, and No randomly spaced throughout videos.
