For some reason I find light brown/ brunette on Asian girls to be very attractive. I'm guessing it cos it different to black and it doesn't stand out too much compared to the other colourful hair colours.

I like girls for their personalities more so then anything. It doesn't matter by their hair color... their personality takes the cake as to why I am into/interested in said person. However... I won't lie, there is a hair color that takes me by surprise.

<spoiler=Natural Brown>

Brown hair that has tints of gold on the outside, but also a lighter shade fading in with the darker parts of the hair... it's simply mind blowing and attractive to me. Then again, any hair color that looks natural or very artsy has my vote in 'That is so beautiful!!'
You'd probably be very attracted to my hair, then. :p

I absolutely love natural, ginger hair. I like most shades of red hair in general, even if it has been dyed that colour, but a natural 'red-head' just can't be beat.

I think it's also due to my liking of pale skin as well (many 'gingers' are pale skinned), the contrast of pale skin with ginger hair looks beautiful.

Imagine Karen Gillan (Previous Doctor-Who-Sidekick, Amy Pond) for me nothing else comes close.

Red-heads.

Never understood the whole 'ginger-bashing' fad myself. Probably started by someone like myself who wanted to score points with a ginger defending them.

Platinum/grey/silver or whatever you want to call it is a colour I am inexplicably attracted to, maybe even most attracted to. It's a rarity to see anyone with shades of grey on their head so that might have to do with the attraction but it's pretty unusual, considering its connotations with old age >_>.
Think Storm from the X-Men movies as well.

I have no idea why I'm attracted to it, or why. No idea at all...*covers up avatar.*[sub]I blame you Caramel.[/sub]

Ginger bashing is actually historical. As in its been around for a very long time (over a thousand years) and it's roots are hard to trace. One theory has to do with genetics. The idea is that a couple, both with brown hair, will have a child that has red hair (red hair is recessive.) Because people misunderstood genetics they assumed that a red hair child could only come from a parent with red hair. Thus, it was assumed that the woman cheated on her husband and the red haired individual was shunned as a bastard child. This is where the phrase "red headed step child" comes from.

Of course, this is only what I have heard. This explanation might be totally incorrect. But I do know it has been around for a very long time.

Can't really explain why I like some colors more than others, maybe it it through experience (how well you liked girls you've met with a particular hair color).
So red is my fav, dark brown or black is very nice as well. Not a fan of blonde. If we are diving into more exotic colors, I don't mind blue hair either, as long as it is dark and not mixed with various other colors, but only next to black.

Brunettes. Any shade really. I'm pretty simple when it comes to which hair colours I'm attracted to.

Yup, chalk me up for the redhead camp. Long, flowing, fiery red hair, oh my, look at me, I'm drooling all over the keyboard.

Any color if it goes with the face well, to be honest. Although I will say this - If you want to dye your hair an unnatural color and strive to make it look natural, be prepared to pay triple digits for it to be professionally done every few months.

I'm gonna have to toss my hat into the "I love red heads" ring. Something about a natural red head just catches my fancy. ^_^

I love them all, except for dyed unnatural ones like purple, green etc. Probably because a vast majority of women I've seen with those hair colours irl were unattractive. Blonde is in the top, though based on my track record I seem to go for girls who has dyed their hair black. What I'm most intrested in is the length of the hair. Preferably down to the ass.

However, I'm most attracted to my own hair. Naturally dark brown with tons of dark red, over 80 cm in length atm and the hairtype is wavy. My moustach is half blonde, for cruel reasons.
I never grow tired of admiring my hair in the mirror.

I am oddly attracted to any totally unnatural hair color. Purple, Pink, Blue, Green, these are the big ones. Also REALLY like a good, strong red.

I tend to like a wide range of hair colors, from brunette to blond, but if I had to pick some favorites...

Because really...who doesn't love a red head?
[sub]- unless you're a psychopath <.<[/sub]

Not entirely sure why. Could be that I'm enticed by the contrast between the colors looking cold yet inviting. I just don't know.

I am attracted to well-styled hair (read as "styles that I like"), especially with unnatural colours. I am generally not attracted to conventional women's hair styles and some concepts of beauty. This has a curious effect - most models do not even register as attractive to me.

For colours I like most of the spectrum except for pink, brown and black. In rare cases even those may work (e.g. second picture).

Good:

Rare example of an almost conventional hairstyling that I think still looks good:

I'll pass:

I personally like brown, pretty much any shade of it. Natural blond is an ok second, but dyed blond is almost always bad.

Unnatural or dyed hair isn't pleasant to my eyes. Attention getting yes, but more of a stab-you-in-the-eye-with-a-spoon kind of attention getting.

Pink hair reminds me too much of cotton candy, of which I once ate too much of as a kid and have hated it with a vengeance ever since!

Blue/green hair reminds me too much of that toilet cleaner stuff (I forget the exact name)!
