I miss my faux-hawk, regrettably the decent barbers near me shut and I have yet to find anyone else locally to do it, so at the moment it's an overgrown v-cut

Short back and sides (#3) and a side parting... cleverly hiding the fact that I am going bald in my early 20's... and it works! People cannot tell!
Not really familiar with hairstyles so I will just say this. I just keep mine as short as possible. I think that's called a buzz cut, but there might be a difference. No styling or anything, I just get it cut with a pair of clippers around every month or so. Sometimes I trim my forehead a bit to make sure it's all even up there.
Err I simply have my trim, making it short all over except the crown part of my hair (trim abit but not too much) since it stand up when cut too short.
I used to have really long hair so had the most kick ass fauxhawk. Basically like a real Mohawk juts not shaved on the sides. Then I realized I looked like a fool, so now it's short and I'm rocking the James Dean........smooth.....
Low ponytail, only difference from when I was first in college is black dye to cover hide the skewbald bits.

Grade zero everywhere bar the middle strip with at least four inches of hair growth, tips often bleached if I could be arsed. Years later I realised I'm the wrong side of 25 and on the advice of my better half grew my hair a little again (I've had dreadlocks amongst other things in my teens, heh) and ended up looking like a sexier version of Jared Padalecki from Supernatural.
About a week ago I had enough of ugly town; cut it quite short all over and styled. Pretty vague but you're not getting a photo so there!

I take a pair of $10 clippers from Walmart, take one of the two smallest guards, and get rid of it all. Repeat that every time my hair gets a few inches.
I've decided to try to grow my hair long again. I'm growing out a really short haircut, and finally got it nearly all one length and just a little past chin length. My bangs were really thick before, and now they're about an inch past my eyes, so it's a pretty crappy transition state right now. I usually straighten it out or just wear it in a wavy bob. Like Agent Scully but not red!
Funnily enough, my hair actually looks exactly my Xbox avatar's seriously. It's uncanny. You can see it if you go onto my Escapist profile page.
Either brushed straight or brushed back, lol. I'm growing it out, to hell what others think of it and demand I cut it.
