After rummaging through my hard drive I have come to the realization that the most prominent reason for my low GPA (2.5) is that I can't stick to an essay draft any further than two paragraphs. I have hundreds of essays and short stores sitting around in my homework and personal project folders that I somehow saw as havening no promise. One such story ends its life as such:
The most enjoyable thing about spring is that no normal compassionate human being gives you any flack for day dreaming new ways to escape. Every rational thought at Sloan High was spent thinking of how to leave responcibiltys behind and rush for the nearest exit. Hanson Knols wasnt the exception. Ever since that whiff of ammonia at chemistry lab woke him up, he couldn't think of anything other than rushing to Camilla and takeing her to the lake.
I must have had some good reason back then, about a year ago, to cut this. But I can't help but ask if anyone else has this problem and how you got over this. So, what does the beautiful and successful people of the Escapist community do to combat this malady?
