Valve has said that they won't do any PS3 games until they get a good, committed PS3 dev team, which isn't likely to happen in the near future. Also, they still haven't said anything about Episode 3 being released.
it probably will get a ps3 port, but valve wont do it. didn't EA do all the other orange box stuff?
It'll be done when it's done. God only knows when that will be, though.
Note to Valve: releasing a new expansion pack every 3 years and tacking the word "episode" onto the title does not constitute episodic gaming. Seriously though, Episode 3 had better be ridiculously good and about the same length as a full game, otherwise a lot of people are going to be extremely pissed off. I understand that they want to make it as good as it can be, but it gets to a point where it's just stupid.
Neither of the previous two episodes have been particularly long; hell, they were actually shorter than your average expansion pack. Surely there's only so much polishing you can do? And yes, I do think HL2 Ep3 should be their priority, not L4D2.

Well I hope that when it does come out its isn't a five hour game that took 4 years to make. I can't stand how they take about two years to make a bloody four to five hour game.

I'd except a 2010 Christmas release, really.
I know that sound ridiculise but it's Value, plus they seem to be going really slow on this one to make it "the best it can be", the best should definitely include a bloody long experience!
I mean, I don't love the HL2 game play but it's story, set pieces and pace is rather epic, so meh?

I think that they will never make the 3 episode because as long as left 4 dead 2 does good they will not need to make it till 2010 or 2011 to make it the best game ever with alot of add on

Actually, didn't they technically choose to farm the orange box out to a bad third party, then blame the fact that a third party was used as the reason they won't do anything else on ps3?darkfire613 said:
