Half Life 2 Episode 3

Now that valve canceled their Portal 2 demo for a surprise, there is every possibility that they will mention Half Life 2 Episode 3? As A major Half Life fan I am nearly wetting myself in anticipation.

So what would you like to see in Episode 3? Story wise or even game play wise?

I don't even like Half Life that much, but that would make it my favourite game ever.

I wouldn't get out the "what would I likes" until it's confirmed. For all we know it's Portal 2 episode 1.

What would I like to see, anything.

I would like to see a more urban environment, like if the resistance managed to get a portal to work to attack the Combine homeworld or something like that. There is room for innovation on another world or dimension or whatever.

I was also thinking that maybe the portal gun may make a brief cameo

I just want them to release it so that everyone who wants it can be happy that it is finally out. I haven't really played the Half-Life series, so I don't really care too much.

I was going to say "Nothing, everyone should stop caring" But I forgot Dog. I must have missed something big in HL1, the story was more confusing than good for me, but Dog kicks ass.

Right, because it's fucking impossible for someone to hate Half-Life after they've played it, right?

But to answer question, I have only 3 words: Weaponized. Portal. Gun.

I highly doubt that they will reveal Episode 3. I recommend not getting your hopes up. Of course this won't stop the inevitable rage threads about Valve no showing Episode 3.

Anyways, I want to see more of the Xen creatures. I'm hoping that Episode 3 will take us to the untamed wilderness of the twisted Earth. So far we've only seen areas under combine control or on the outskirts of their borders. Even then these areas were still hostile and dangerous, so I can only imagine what the deep wilderness is like. I want to see how the creatures of Xen have adapted to life on Earth. I want to see what it's like for both the rebels and the Combine to attempt to infiltrate these untamed wilds. It would be interesting to say the least.
