Sorry to create a thread that has most likely been made 1000 other times, but has anyone heard any news about this? I've been searching the web lately after finishing the entire saga for the ....6th time I believe and I'm anxious to get the EP3. All I could find were some pictures, pretty much nothing trully hinting towards a release or even a little more data.

Long story short, to the best of my knowledge, there's been no news whatsoever about Ep3. You need to learn about 'Valve time'.

Well I was just hoping by some miracle someone found a page I wasn't able to and discovered a shiny golden Messiah waiting to be released.

Duke Nukem Forever is going to come out before Episode 3. This is fucking ridiculous, and I'm pretty sure does serious damage to the space-time continuum.

Why would you do something so cruel as to insinuate that there was new news.

Valve does have a big announcement coming though it would be a fool who assumes it is in regard to episode 3

OK, I'll tell the truth.

I have Gabe Newell and the entire Half Life 2 development team locked in my basement and living off of nothing but Teddy Grahams. I do this just to torture the fans of the series. Periodically I have an impostor Newell come and and tease the public with announcements of "big things to come".

I am a sinister bastard. But this is how I find peace and meaning in the world. Don't judge me.

According to recent news, Valve is going to make three massive announcements next year. Ep3 must be one of them.

And Left 4 Dead 3 is another, going by the incredibly short release between the first and second games...

Though that does leave the mystery of the third announcement. Here's hoping for... Half Life 3, alongside production of more episodes for 2?! The excitement, dear Watson!

Alternatively i'd just be happy with a new IP instead of keeping these franchises alive on life support.

I do hope the first news we get from Valve is about Episode 3, I'm itching for some Freeman action, I'm sick of all the realistic shooters where I have to wait before I can get back into the fight and there are few enemies involved. Give me another antlion battle from EP2 ffs, massive number of enemies and u alone.
