Halloween Avatars

It's only two weeks until Halloween, and its time to get into the spirit of the holidays the Traditional Escapist way. Seasonal Avatars!

We used to have crack teams such as the Holiday Council to manage, create, and organise Avatar events. These duties have now fallen to me as owner of the Avatar Store. So join in and lets make these forums a bit more spooky.

If you have a Halloween variant of your avatar then why not use it? If you don't then you can make one yourself, or order a custom one from the <url=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/groups/view/The-Avatar-Store-New-and-Second-Hand>Avatar Store. We have a crack team of artists who are happy to make you a Halloween (or any other type) avatar to your specifications.

To get one follow the link to the Avatar Store group and post your request in the chat section. Be patient with your request as the Artists can be busy at this time of year.

Important: Please don't post requests in this thread as the artists may not check it. Post in the group chat section.

Be sure to read the rules and guidelines on the group homepage to make things simpler for both you and the artist.

If you have any questions feel free to ask, and come back to show of your new Avatar, or one of your own creation.

The only difference I made to the avatar was changing the Awesome Face to a Rorschach variant [http://images.encyclopediadramatica.com/images/0/02/AwesomeRorschach.jpg] of Awesome Face which I managed to find on ED a while back and wanted to use for something ever since.

I would offer a cookie for guessing why I chose Rorschach but [user]Sporky111[/user] got it in about five minutes, so either too mony old users are around who remember it or anyone who didn't know why could just get it by checking out The Avatar Store group that thenumberthirteen linked to in the OP of this thread. Basically, Rorschach was my first avatar on this site, and I kept using several variants of him for about 10 months, before changing avatars (not to the one you see above -- that one's only about 3-4 months old) in January this year.

EDIT: Oh yeah, this was made by myself, not The Avatar Store.

I'm kinda lazy about avatar changes. I've got one for summer and one for March Mayhem, then I just kinda ride out the rest of the year with my default one. Used to use this one:

For Halloween/Fall, but I didn't really like the way it looked.

Nice to see the Holiday Council surviving, in one form or another. It was always one of my favorite things about the Escapist.

Being the single person on the Escapist to openly proclaim my fandom for Renamon in her original form and absolutely loathing what the internet has done to her, my avatar is none other than that.

Normally, I would have Renamon smiling and being happy, a complete paradox to her silent nature, as follows. However, for the Halloween season, I had a good friend of mine spookify her into something much more fitting of the season, as you can see.

Yep, people used to send me messages with details of their requests, and I'd make it for them as quickly as possible, and send it back.
Then the requests stopped, and so did I. I even stopped making avatars for anyone to use, after the avatar size limit was enforced >.>
But no one asks anymore, so I gave up.

I'd love my one to be spooked up a little bit. I don't think there is much you could do with it though. Or maybe there is. I'll probably ask for 1 in a few days.
