Halloween Costume

Ok i know its a couple weeks away but a mate of mine is having a halloween party, and ofcourse its a dress up party (I am not a child! ).
Problem is i have no idea what to go as, and i cant be bothered to shell out any money to go buy much.
Just asking what i should go as?
Preferably a well known game character or something people would know about.

Enough hair gel+ a cape+ some type of sword= instant Marth.
Anyone with a cape is easy, the trick is differentiation.
Or, you could take an old shirt and put a vault number on the back of it...
I'm pretty sure a sleeveless shirt and sunglasses (if you have short, light hair) would do the trick for Duke Nukem, you'd just need some kind of gun prop.

Grow a beard, Dye a bedsheet red, wear some swimshorts or lincloth if you have one, sandals et voila leonidas from 300, add in a dustbin lid a wooden stick if you feel like going that far!

2 pairs of thick black tights, stuffed with paper or cloth, less generously stuffed at the "joints" (see where I'm going here?), hung under your arms by thin but strong (fishing line?) string, bottom limb strung to upper limb. edit - obviously attached to your torso at the waist of the tights!
Black trousers and shoes.
optional extra eyes stuck on odd places e.g. shoulders.
