Hey folks, we're having a Halloween party this evening that a bunch of the staff is attending, and some of us are putting together costumes. So I'm curious, what's everyone here dressing as tonight? Photos are welcome (There MIGHT be some of us later)!

Zombie astronaut, an astro-zombie if you will. Or a zombienaut. Hmmm. Anyway. Zombie themed party tonight, I'll post some pictures if and when I regain consciousness (also fireworks party, go Guy Fawkes).

I'm re-wearing an old costume (boo.)

I couldn't get the materials I needed to make my mask for this year's idea, which was to have a head of dribbling melted red wax.

I'm going as me if I snapped.

Torn clothes, and a baseball bat. All covered in fake blood.

When someone asks me what my costume is, I'll just tilt my head and say, "What costume?"

I would be dressing up as Alex Mercer from Prototype, but a) I don't have a plain white hoodie and down vest, and b) noone would get it, seeing as how noone I know has even heard of the game.

Here are some from last night after I finished making mine. I look like a zombie in this because it's way, way past my bedtime.

it may be old but it looks awesome.

As for myself, I'll be decked as a piecemeal steampunk chick... still hoping it comes together.

Is that a steampunk ghostbuster? Because is definitely the proverbial shit whatever it is. Rock on, that must have taken ages!

Landslide, you scare me... But you really need a Ghostbusters patch on the vest to complete it. And you could make the circle/slash around the ghost have metal rivets all along it.
Gah, you know - if I had more time, I might. As it is I have to go home after work, put on some of the costume, drive a buddy to the airport, go back home and finish dressing, then head to the party.

Maybe next year I'll go as a steampunk Iron Man. 12 months might be enough time.

I wish Halloween was as big here as in the States and Canada. Over here if you dress up really well for Halloween people look at you like you escaped from Thief 3's Cradle.

Decorations? Trick or Treating? You must be kidding (read with a great deal of sarcasm, I hate this country for not doing this).

Where are you from? Us in the UK are starting to get into the swing of things. Why I'm off tonight to a zombie theme party. But yeah, actually we're not as committed.

The Netherlands. Yeah we have halloween party at a local irish themed pub tonight but I don't expect a lot of great costumes, just some rag tag stuff people picked up during the years in joke shops and whatnot. So yeah I'm not even gonna try, would like to though, but it's so dumb to do your best and no one else gets into it.

We've done Halloween parties for a couple years. usually someone on staff hosts. We're all dorks here, so it's fun to go a little crazy on costumes. Locally there are also a lot of really big Halloween/costume events too. So sometimes it's fun to get decked out, and head into down with a couple thousand other people dressed up as well.

I'm going as the Punisher. Got the coat, the shirt, now I need a gun...

Yeah it's lame, easy and not impressive but at least I'm fighting mainstream Netherlands on this one :p

I'm not going out tonight as everyone I was planning on going out with was busy, so I didn't bother getting my costume sorted, but I was planning as going out as Dr. Horrible.
