Halo 3 + Halo 3: ODST in system link?

Got a friend who has both, that's the closest any of us at an upcoming birthday party have to two copies of a game. Since there's map overlap is it possible to system link one system with H3 and the other with ODST?

I would think so... You would just use the Halo 3 Multiplayer disk that came with ODST and not the single player/firefight disk. That is, if he has Halo 3 and both ODST disk, otherwise it's not possible. Hope that helps.

The ODST game came with a 2nd disc that has the Halo3 Muti-player only in it so it should act like Halo3 does and the system link should work...i don't see why it wouldn't...now if he has JUST the ODST disc(the one with campaign) then no.

Thanks, I'll check with him to see if he's got both discs for ODST.
