Halo 3 mythic map pack help?

I just downloaded the mythic map pack which i paid a 1000MS for and when they download i join a friends game and it kicks me saying i don't have the maps i check my maps it say i don't have them i check my hardrive and it says i have them i delete it re-download it and it says i still dont have them please i need some help here?

1. Uhhh I don't think you should of payed 1000 MS points for the map pack. It should be only 800.
2. Most likely you don't another map pack that your friend does. Check to see if you have the Heroic map pack, Legendary map pack, and the map Cold Storage also.

Well, have you gone into Forge and waited for it to load properly? It can sometimes take a couple of tries before it get's the idea. If the 'loading content' thing pops up and closes, and you still can't use the maps then you're screwed.

Delete then re-download, it should do it. You won't be charged again.
