Halo 4: Anyone else having this problem?

Ok, so I've been playing my copy of Halo 4 for a good few hours this morning with my boyfriend (we each have our own console and copy), and suddenly its not letting me connect to his party, is saying the servers are down on Spartan Ops and War Games (Only letting me play the 'default servers?'), and my rank has gone down to SR1/Armour reset to default and no custom load outs. My boyfriend however is having no problems playing his game..

Is anyone else having this problem, and maybe knows how to fix it..?

It's probably just Day 1 overload. Patience is a virtue.

A lot of people are having the same problem, me included. 343 is aware of the issue and is working on it. Probably something to do withh all those people trying to play all at once.
