Halo reach beta

I am currently debating if I should buy Halo 3 ODST, only thing holding me back from buying it is when the beta ends.
Does anyone have any idea when the Halo Reach beta will end and if possible can you link where it is said please.

I heard it will last around 3 weeks. It's not confirmed though, I'd check the Bungie website.
