Halo reach: Jun

Ok so:

As you probably know, Jun is the only member of noble team whose fate is uncertain, the last we saw of the sniper he was escorting dr. hasley off of reach. I beleive in the following credits, you could hear dr. hasley's voice, meaning they survived. According to the legendary edition developer: "Jun is alive".

The question is: since we know he is alive from a developers mouth, do you think there is a possibilty for a sequel/prequel or DLC explaining Jun and what happens to him. I realise Bungie is done with Halo, but I've heard rumors of 343 studios taking over, and if that's true, is there a possibility of finding out what happened to 117 after the legendary ending in Halo 3?

Yes. I actually think thats the sole reason that hes still alive. Hes another character Microsoft can use to keep the games going. Thats all I see in it. Am I glad hes alive? Yes. Should he be? No.

You really need to know how to post spoilers. First of all, you saying he is alive would be to infer that he disappeared or died and he actually really isn't. Thanks a lot.

 

[Sniper Team 4]

Jun will lead a team that either A) recovers the survivors in Onyx or B) recovers Master Chief and Cortana. Naturally, things are not going to be as simple as that, which is why Jun will have to come along.

Seriously, can someone PLEASE wrap up the Onyx storyline?

I want to play as Jorge. He was the best character, not to mention the second only one who didn't totally piss me the fuck off.

For the record:

A game featuring Jun as the protagonist is unlikely, as the main character in Halo games always has virtually no lines of spoken dialog. Jun is know as the talkative spartan so this wouldn't really fit.

I seem to recall hearing somewhere that Dr. Halsey and a few spartan 3s were trapped in a Forerunner safe zone in Onyx. If that's true, then I bet that's where Jun is.

(Forerunner safe zones are areas immune to the halo rings)

Except that Jun is a survivor, making him a remaining Spartan III. He also was never mentioned until Reach, so he could just be generic Spartan with Halsey for all we know.
