Awesome.
I got to play the maps at a friends house the other day and i loved them.

Anchor 9 was fun, i love its close quarter fights but the side hallways were fun for picking people off.

Tempest was fun, its cool for things like Capture the flag but i found myself trapped against a rock a lot of the time.
[sup]i need to learn how to use my radar...[/sup]

But i also loved Breakpoint.....as long as i never haft to fight on it with Big Team Snipers as the game type.
Seriously, i already suck at sniping...

Looks like fun. One of the few things holding me back from XBL gaming is the terrible mic quality. I much prefer the crisp TF2 mics.

I can't even remember the names of the original versions of those maps in Halo CE...

Damn.

Also, watching that video reminded me to look for a copy of Halo 1 & 2 to buy. I must play them again!

Great ending, especially the Teabag Discretion Shot (no one here really believes the blue guy was walking towards your body for any other reason). Reminds me why I didn't pick up a Live card and instead stuck to Brotherhood.

Anyways, 3 maps only (even if one of them seems insanely big)? Given the track record here, I think I'll wait until the next pack comes out and these are free to pick them up.

This post is merely to make the other show (sorry for the double post), but I'll pretend it isn't by adding more

I had a feeling the first one seemed a bit familiar (the corridors and low grav sections seemed to come from 1 & 2 respectively), but I didn't get that from the others. Then again I didn't really play online back when they were truly active.

You mean PC mics in general? Yeah, it would be nice if there were a lot better mics for the 360 (especially since I got one with my brother that had a great mic, but my brother decided to keep that system when I went off to college, but paid for half of it. My current 360's mic not only was horribly designed in terms of size, but also broke, something the previous one has yet to do). I think you might be able to plug in other mics though, but I really don't know on that.

I love the new maps. Fun to play, and each map has its own special story to tell through the environment.

Although I haven't played invasion on Breakpoint yet, which is what I really want to do. But to do that I need to play invasion and hope everyone has the maps, which never happens for me :(

I don't wanna be that guy but you got your ass handed to you in most of those clips.
OT: I never usually shell out money for map packs but those last two look pretty damn good.

Unless you're making a point about how Bungie are recycling map designs, you're a fool: they're all original.

At first, I felt like a dupe for dropping 800 banana stickers on three maps, but then I got a 50g achievement for killing someone across the map with a DMR. I warmed up to it quickly after that, despite the fact that the playlists I frequent never have them in circulation, ever.

Now I'm not a big fan of the halo series and I have never played halo reach. But what hit me when I watched this video was: "This is Unreal tournament!". With nearly the exact same vehicles, the jump pad and even the outdoor space shooting is pretty much exactly the same.

Almost makes me wish that this was on PC, seeing as I miss playing a good UT game.

I wish to point out that Anchor 9 is based on a SPACE STATION. NOT a space ship.

Haha, that guy at 1:55...either you were being evil and refusing to let him ride in the Warthog or he just sucks at getting into vehicles. Either way, it was hilarious.

Awesome review/overview, though. Looks like I'll be buying this one.

Lol at 3:06. I'll stick to games that are a bit cleaner, thank you very much. Which is unfortunate because this looks rather good.
