Phil Spencer from MS Game Studios was talking about Kinect integration, and said "even games like Halo Anniversary has Kinect integration." So he's just mentioning it in passing, but still, it's an interesting statement. Since it's supposed to be purely a graphical remake, with the gameplay remaining exactly the same, and some multiplayer maps tacked on, it seeims weird that they would throw in Kinect. Maybe it's simple voice commands like Mass Effect 3, maybe it's a minigame, who knows. I'm sure we'll hear more about this soon though.

What do we think, Escapists? Good news, bad news, or not enough information to tell yet?

It has to do with the Kinect. I'm gonna go with meh news. I think the voice stuff in ME3 is pretty damned stupid.

"Say what commander Shepard should say. Then he'll say it again."

As far as squad commands go, I'm not really going to rely on that being all that accurate either. With the number of times Shepard got stuck to a wall with me desperately trying to get her to step away from it, I suspect voice commands will only add frustration, not the type of precise control I want my squad mates to react with in the middle of a fire fight.

"Charge into that room of Krogans full speed? OKAY!"

Yeah, not really going to try that.

I find this whole idea of Remaking halo to be distasteful, also what the hell are you going to do with a motion sensor while playing an fps?
