On-topic, probably the either the Carbine or the Energy Sword. Both seem like a lot of fun to use, particularly the latter. I'd just go all Punisher on everyone.

Shotgun. Nothing particularly special, but bear in mind that they don't actually make 8-gauge shotguns in the real world: the recoil could probably dislocate your arm! Provided I managed to modify it so that that didn't happen, imagine the fun I could have with it. And imagine the noise it would make when you fired it! Glorious!

Energy Sword. The activation noise it makes is just...mmm... I love it. Plus it doubles up as a torch if I'm lost in the dark.

I'd rather have a lightsabre. They don't run out of ammo.

Agreed on lightsaber. But I'd probably just get the battle rifle from first game. I'm a traditionalist.

Back when I played Halo 1 co-op, I would kill my buddy if he dared to take any of my precious pistol ammo. So yeah, the Halo 1 pistol.

They say they're bringing back the old pistol for Halo: ODST, but they said that about Halo 3, too.

Yep.

That was the one redeeming factor in the Halo games.
I loved that gun.

It wasn't terribly new and interesting, but it was a step in the right direction.
