So I just finished them first mission from the Firewalker DLC pack and I gotta say they nailed the controls! It is such a massive improvement from the Mako. It's just so awesome jumping off cliffs and whatnot. Haven't tried it in combat yet, looking forward to it though. What do my fellow Escapists think?

Huh, I forgot all about this DLC. I'll try it out now and come back with an opinion.

Yeah, the controls are pretty good.

Just a shame the missions are pretty damn dull, bar the Prothean artifact one.

Bioware really seems to get it's customers. Hell, just browsing the online store will tell you that (Morrigan disapproves and Enchantment? shirts? They really do listen.)
Right now I'm waiting for mine to finish downloading. All I can say is that after all this DLC, I'm really liking Project $10.

*EDIT*
Ok, just played through the Ice planet mission and it really struck home with me, but that's probably because I recently had to make a trip and arrived there on fumes and positive thinking (the final ten minutes of the trip I couldn't find a gas station and I watched my fuel gauge slowly go towards the E). Watching the heat go down like that while I sped up to try to finish before my vehicle gave out really brought that memory back up. I don't know if it will do the same for anyone else (I know I'm not the only one who has had an experience like this) but that part really got me.

Yeah I'm almost through the whole thing and the lack of combat kind of sucks. And the combat isn't that amazing. You just spam missiles. It's pretty cool though. I believe they should include a couple hammerhead missions in ME3. It would be cool.

Agree one hundred percent. I'd totally get those shirts if my dad had a credit card lol

Love the controls and possible future of mining (you hold Y over markings on the ground and have to keep the Hammerhead from shaking away). Not such a fan of the combat. It consists of holding own the trigger just like in the Mako (except there you got to alternate between the cannon and machine gun).

The thing moves nicely, but strafing around targets spamming missiles in their general direction gets boring fast.

The lack of shields is annoying too. And I also liked the mineral "scanning". I was just about to do the last mission then TIM is just like "Shepard! Go to the Collector Base!" Damn my timing.

I really think they should included it in ME3 they just should add upgrades and make the combat more engaging.
