Well, I was trying to play some PC games with one hand, by PC games I just mean old games like Castlevania: SOTN. So I used my G13 keyboard, it has a joystick and enough buttons. So I tried playing with my left hand only.. And man was it hard. I could barely move and attack at the same time, I had to release the joystick constantly.

Anyway, what I want to ask is have any of you ever tried to play a game with one hand? How did it go?

I used to be able to play Cod2 one handed, not very well but for the start of SD rounds I could run and get into a position, as long as I didn't need to lean I could aim and eat for the first few shots. 2 mouse buttons on the side, one for run and the other toggled crouch. Had the run on Cod4 but I switched a mouse button to melee.

Sadly Source games you can only map 1 key per action, so I can't use it for TF2, (which is fine, the buttons do other things instead).

I could play WoW perfectly fine with either hand, using either the mouse or keyboard, often ran 5 man dungeons with just the hand on keyboard, the other eating. Could even heal like that as well.

Usually I play one handed really temporarily while I, say, nom on something.

[sub]damn, I thought this would be some kind of thread in which people are asked how good their hand eye coordination is, and that way I put yet another juggling reference into The Escapist, saying how it improves hand eye coordination... >_<[/sub]

ummm I've played alot of games one handed... Tekken 3 and tekken 4 I whupped a friend of mine playing one handed on random characters that i normally kinda sucked with... with Playstation controllers sometimes hitting off combos in fighting games correctly is tricky when one handed...

umm... played alot of RTS games one handed... gets kinda tricky when you're used to using numbered squads on the fly with yer left hand and hitting hotkeys while simultainiously managing things with yer mouse.
but it's doable probably alot easier to most than alot of other game types.
