Damn, son... I remember when I was introduced to Zero Punctuation via X-Play (prior to their escalated downfall) and, in my opinion, it was one of the smartest things X-Play did back then because it lead to an interesting perspective on comedic criticism as well as the long drawn-out sequences that lead to being part of the Escapist forums...

Happy Birthday, Zero Punctuation... May you take this haiku as a gift that you would, otherwise, criticize for lacking form and/or structural significance:

Seven years ago I was getting ready to go to highschool, now I am a year from graduating from college.

My first exposure to ZP was one of those shorts they used to make for Xplay the day before the real review came out (which also is a milestone of how much has changed, btw is there any collections of those shorts anywhere?).

'Ey, Floyd, you got this one?

Happy seven years of ZP, Yahtzee. Still intrigued and very amused by what you have to say, and I'd be happy to see another seven.

I can't be as hip and cool and some posters and say that I've been there from the beginning because I can still be counted as a young Escapee. But I'm here now, and that matters to some extent.

Happy B'day Zero Punctuation!

Yahtzee was there when I was a little idiot in High School with opinions about video games. When he moved from Youtube to here, I've been following him on Wednesdays ever since then. One day I randomly made an account...

So Naive. Never did I think I would actually POST here.

Has it really been seven years? Wow.

Congrats, Yahtzee, for managing to do this for seven years without going insane from all the spunk-gargle-wee-wee that is the modern military shooter that saturates the market. I'd say we should look forward to another seven years of great ZP, but honestly, Yahtzee is liable to suffer a hemorrhage after another CoD game.

Likewise. I didn't particularly think I'd need to sign up when I first started watching videos here. I don't go back to the very beginning of ZP, but I only missed out by a couple weeks, I think. My story's a little too grim and gritty to tell, though.

Seven years, eh? Let's bottle 'im and sell him on Ebay. Wonderful vintage, good flavor... We'll be millionaires...maybe.

Zero Punctuation was what drew me here, and eventually register an account after a year or so. So congratulations, it's been highly amusing and I hope to see much more of it.

I'm kinda tempted to get the books too.

Zero Punctuation is the big seller for escapist no doubt. And often Yahtzee is so funny I must make an effort to remember
he does have valid points in his ramblings.

Perhaps I should give him my old Amiga 1200 as a present to celebrate the occasion^^ The old bread box still works.
But he would only spend all his time playing North and South or Nuclear war anyway^^

In a rare moment of mushy sediment I'd like to say this seven years with Yahtzee and ZP have flown by as quick as his reviews. I'd like to... Happy Seventh Anniversary ZP! Keep em coming.

I'm surprised Fallout 3 is his most-viewed video. I would have guessed Super Smash Bros Brawl, Metal Gear Solid 4, or Duke Nukem Forever.

Personally, my favorite episode is the Prince of Persia retrospective, mainly because of this gem: "Never stick your dick in a pudding. It's probably still good pudding and you can spend all day explaining that to people, but nobody's going to eat it because YOU STUCK YOUR DICK IN IT."

Had had my account here considerably less time than I've actually watched ZP, but it's funny to realize how the time flies by. 7 years ago... I had just met my first love. It lasted for good 4 years, during which we moved in together among many other nice things. Heh. Time really flies.

Congrats Yahtzee and Zero Punctuation!

I love the fact that the imp, one of the main sort of staples of the show, really only just started because that was part of the game he was reviewing, and then sort of just stuck from there.

Happy birthday! I joined the bandwagon pretty late, but I think all those hours I spent watching the damn videos over and over more then made up for it...

...What? I was idiot two years. I had nothing better to do with my time...

Anyway, here's to continued success. d ^_^ b

7 years ago, I was still in college, and in between who would become the best and the worst roommates I ever had, and unaware of the Escapist. It was the "preview" clips on G4's X-Play (one of the few truly funny bits from that show) that introduced me to Yahtzee's Zero Punctuation, and by then he stopped using other people's music in the intro & ending of each episode. Happy birthday, ZP! Here's to 7 more!

This just made me feel so old, stop.
I wasn't watching Zero Punctuation in the beginning, but it did watch ever since the show case by G4TV on Xplay.
Eh, anyone remember that? I miss them.
I remember them back when they just TechTv, before G4 came in and was like "Hey, we think all you nerds and tech junkies will like Cars, Cops, and Cheaters"
I thought the transition from "all video games, all the time!" to "Some game stuff, and more STAR TREK reruns and other crap" was slower and more gradual than that, until the time came for Esquire TV to take over. That goodbye episode of Attack of the Show still gets me in the feels.
