Now, as you might be able to see, I'm a bit of a Clint Eastwood fan. Well, today the great man hits 80! Personally I thought the star of such films as The Good, The Bad And The Ugly and Dirty Harry deserved a celebratory thread.

Now for the sake of conversation, what's your favorite Clint Eastwood film?

Happy B Day Clint, still can kick my ass any day of the week.

My favorite film is also Gran Torino, just some damn fine acting in that one.

I watched the latter half of Gran Torino last night... Had no idea today is his birthday. (I saw Gran Torino before, don't worry)

I'll have to say A Fistfull of Dollars. I love the movie. He's absolutely awesome.

For a Few isn't too much worse, I prefer the intro and theme music. Yeah, the theme music is the real star of that movie.

Guess I'll have to listen to Gorillaz today.

My favorite movie would have to be Dirty Harry.

Happy Birthday Clint.

It's way too hard for me to pick one favorite of his. I'd really have to think about it.

Shit - I honestly forgot he was still alive! I thought this was one of those 'you were the greatest' threads.

Then I remembered Gran Torino, and it all came back to me.

My stupidity, that is.

Callahan: When an adult male is chasing a female with intent to commit rape, I shoot the bastard; that's my policy.

Mayor: How do you make that conclusion?

Callahan: When a naked man is chasing a woman through an alley with a butcher knife and a hard-on, I figure he isn't out collecting for the Red Cross

Clint Eastwood has a very special place among my favorite actors of all time. His Man with No Name character is the sole reason I like western genre.

So, happy birthday with cakes and balloons, Clint.
I guess now is a perfect time to re-watch the Dollars Trilogy, and I invite you all to join me.

I was about to make a thread celebrating the mans Birthday but I see you have beaten me to it...
At least we're not talking about him like we are with the other celebrity threads on here recently (As in dead).

And to answer you question, My favourites are Dirty Harry, The Good, The Bad and The Ugly,Gran Torino and The Outlaw Josey Wales. Not in that order.
