hard to believe, that 11 years ago, we got god's gift to the world, and that a couple years later it was taken away too soon to receive back all the love it gave to us

it came out of nowhere and completely unexpected, and kicked ass wherever it went

11 years later, it still kicks ass

11 years later, I'm still proud of owning mine

(yeah yeah, pic is from /v/, couldnt find another one =P)

btw, search bar approved, apparently

See I'm trying to remember the Dreamcast. I remember a KICK-ASS somic game. In my opinion, the only 3D sonic game that EVER worked, but I just don't remember any other memorable titles. It could be ignorance on my part, or it could be that I simply didn't look too far into it.

However, I will say Happy Birthday in memory of the one beautiful Sonic game

It's nice that PS2 got invited to the party. Good to see that the Dreamcast isn't harbouring any bad blood towards its killer.

Ah, the Dreamcast. Countless hours of Quake 3, Unreal Tournament and Vigilante 8: 2nd Offence went into you. I swore I would play Soulcalibur and the Sonic Adventure games on you-Your anniversary makes me even more determined!

Sonic adventure, yes I remember it well.

Blue (spelling?) tends to ruin most of what he's in. People like him for him, and yet most people hate him for him.

Ahhhh, the poor Dreamcast. Great little machine while it was around. Still so many fond memories of Crazy Taxi and Fur Fighters

Don't you mean Big the Cat?

I can remember it well, but the spiral was blue over here, rather than orange.

Gaaah, i remember the Dreamcast. I wanted one so bad and tried to save up to afford one, and by the time i could, the bastard died out. I ended up having to settle for its competitor, the PS2 instead. Though i had a mate who had a PS2 and he introduced me to the FF series. Though i'm still eternally bitter about not having been able to get that Dreamcast due to it having bombed.

Woo, Happy Birthday!

I recently bought a new Dreamcast this year. Originally had one back when it was around, but it broke after the consoles had died out. Really awesome to have one again. Finally able to replay old dreamcast games without having to use questionable methods.

I still love my Dreamcast, though I haven't played it in a while. Gundam Side Story 0079 is still the best Gundam game to be released in the US(I have a satisfactory successor now on the PS3, but everything is in Japanese.)

Well, if this isn't motivation to go dig the system out of my basement, then I don't know what it is.

Happy 11th Dreamcast!

suddenly, I'm also in the mood for some Jet Grind Radio
would be cool to be able to play some Phantasy Star Universe online, if servers were still up T-T

Happy Birthday Dreamcast! I'll never forget the hours and hours I used to spend playing Soul Calibur with my brothers, or playing co-op on Sonic Adventure.

I still think Microsoft ripped off the Dreamcast controller design for the Xbox. But everybody I know says I'm crazy, so I guess not.

Woot woot woot! Congratulations to the Dreamcast. One hell of a machine. I never owned one, but my best mate still has his! Might go hit up the good ol' Phantasy Star.

man oh man, House of the Dead with the Keyboard (I think it was called "Typing of the Dead" or something) was one of the funniest games ever made.

And Soul Calibur wasted away so many hours of my life.

I miss my Dreamcast

typing of the dead indeed

there's nothing like playing it coop with a buddy and see who's the better bookworm

not exactly bookworm, considering the words you had to type =P
